Your QuestionCreated on 2010-06-10 16:50:27 with 110 views. Q: Problem logging into the RRFL forum. A: There is sometimes a problem with username/passwords in the forum login page. Obviously - you need to be certain of the password that you are using - if in doubt - reset your pass
First - make sure you are not logged on in another Windows/tab or on a different PC. Close ALL web browsers on all PCs that you may have been using. Sometimes this hangs the login screen up. If one is still logged in, it wont allow a 2nd one to log in. Restart the web browser and try to login with your user/password again. Also if you leave the forum without logging out - like overnight - that seems to hang it too.
Second - If 1 still fails try this - on the login page there is a guest login - upper left - try to enter your username/password there. This typically works for people.
Third - If 2nd fails, then click (forgot password) to send you a new password. You should get the email and then log in with this. After this - it works in most cases.
Fourth - depending on the internet browser you use, you can remove the old browsing history and cookies from your PC. This wont harm your favorites but simply resets the history of sites and cookies that you have visited. This is typically the main problem. It thinks you are logged in by the cookies on your PC.
